Bauskas Brewery has blended two ancient traditions and invested 120,000 euros to develop the very first of it’s highly anticipated craft beers - ’Festiņš’ - that is the exquisite result of marrying Bauskas light beer, the fermented tea fungus drink ’Dr Kombucha’ and luscious lingonberries from the picturesque Latvian forests.
“Last winter was a dynamic and gratifying season for Bauskas Brewery as we not only managed to create exciting new non-alcoholic beverages, but we also began work on our brand-new range of craft beers.
The story of ’Festinš’ began one fine day while having a beer with friends the ladies present declared that they felt like drinking something other than beer, something light and airy, and, so ,with that we got to it!
After careful market research and a through examination of global trends, we came up with the idea of developing the new segment of craft beers. We couldn’t be happier with ’Festiņš’. It’s fun, bubbly, light (2,4%), tasty, the perfect balance of fermented kombucha tea, one of our most popular light beers, ’Bauskas light beer’ and the beautiful lingonberry!
